Child Support Referee
Kaleb Paulsen is one of a dozen child support referees in the state of South Dakota. As a neutral party, the referee reviews cases to make recommendations or decisions regarding child support that are adopted by the Circuit Court, including establishing payment amounts and modifying existing orders. A Child Support Referee’s primary goal is to ensure that the best interests of the child are protected and that both parents fulfill their financial responsibilities to ensure that children receive the financial support they need for a healthy upbringing.
